most creatives have a similar story. i've been making things my whole life- my mother encouraged us to draw when we couldn't find the words for our feelings. art is a natural extension of my self expression, at times more natural than language.

i opened this etsy shop in 2006 to serve as an overflow gallery for various unsold paintings. a year or so later i was hooked on jewelry-making, an interest that i'd developed and nurtured within this very community. PULPtart was born!

oddly, painting and jewlery-making are two very different animals and i find that they each fulfill separate parts of me. when my interest in one wanes and i feel restless i can usually pick up the other and remedy the feeling.
